The festive December edition of our Guest Cocktail line-up was this guy, who we dubbed ‘Nutcracker’.
It was chock-full of Christmass-y flavours to get patrons in the mood for the yuletide, with walnut, sage, orange, and chestnut starring. And it was pretty special for another reason, too – since it was our first showcase of Glenfiddich’s brand-new experimental IPA cask-finished scotch.
The Glenfiddich IPA Experiment is the first single malt Scotch whisky finished in IPA craft beer casks, but not just any craft beer.. they had a go at making their own.
It represents the first in a groundbreaking series, and with it Malt Master Brian Kinsman has proven that traditional whisky casks can still be seasoned in a pioneering way.
And so we felt it only right to feature it heavily in our serve for December.
